A bronchoscopy is a diagnostic procedure used to examine the airways and lungs using a thin, flexible instrument called a bronchoscope. It allows the specialist to identify abnormalities, determine the underlying cause of respiratory symptoms, and, when necessary, obtain tissue or fluid samples for further investigation.

This is a non-invasive test used in order to diagnose sleep conditions. The testing measures various parameters such as your child’s brain activity, their breathing, heart rate, leg movements, eye moments, and their blood oxygen levels.

An oximetry is a non-invasive test performed at home, by placing a machine called a pulse oximeter onto your child’s finger or toe. The sensor uses light to measure the amount of oxygen in your child’s blood, as well as their heart rate.
